From the North (M3):

• Leave the M3 at junction 14 (s/posted Southampton/City Centre) and continue onto the A27

• At Chilworth Roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Bassett Avenue/A33 (s/posted City Centre)
• At the next roundabout take the 1st exit continuing along Bassett Avenue/A33 (s/posted City Centre/Docks)

• At the traffic lights continue straight on, onto the Avenue/A33 (s/posted City Centre/Docks)

• Go straight across the next 2 sets of traffic lights on the Avenue/A33
• At Charlotte Place Roundabout take the 2nd Exit onto St Andrews Road/A33 (s/posted Docks/Ring Road.
• Keep in the left hand lane then at the traffic lights continue straight ahead onto A3024 (s/posted Portsmouth)

• Continue across next set of light and over the railway bridge

• Going over the bridge keep to the right hand lane and at the traffic lights turn right into Britannia Road/B3038

From the West (M27)

• Leave the M27 at junction 3. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the M271

• At Redbridge Roundabout take the 1st exit moving into the central lane when you reach Redbridge Road

• Proceed over Millbrook flyover/A33

• At the traffic lights continue straight on onto Mountbatten Way and keep to the left hand lane (s/posted City Centre)

• At traffic lights continue straight on onto Western Esplanade/A3024 and go straight across the next set of traffic lights up the hill

• At the traffic lights keep to the central lane and continue straight on onto Civic Centre Road with the Civic Centre on your left

• Go straight across the next two sets of traffic lights and proceed past the Southampton Solent University on your left

• At the traffic lights at Six Dials continue straight on (s/posted Northam)

• Continue across next set of light and over the railway bridge

• Going over the bridge keep to the right hand lane and at the traffic lights turn right into Britannia Road/B3038

From the East (M27)

• Leave the M27 at junction 7 (s/posted Hedge End) and at the roundabout take the 1st exit onto Charles Watts Way/A334

• At the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Thornhill Park Road/A334

Continue straight onto Bitterne Road/A3024

• At traffic lights turn right onto Maybray King Way/A3024

• At traffic lights continue straight on onto Northam Raod/A3024 (s/posted City Centre)

• At the traffic lights just past the petrol station, turn left into Britannia Road/B3038
